By now, nearly everyone outside the private living quarters at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW knows that our nation's survival as a free society requires the immediate removal of Joe Biden as president, along with his national security advisor, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staffs, and the secretaries of state, defense, and homeland security. Most of the Democrat Party's dominant socialist wing will try to keep them propped up, of course, but this doesn't mean they don't understand the gravity of the situation. We get the feeling they welcome it.
There is just one small problem: Kamala Harris. She can't be allowed to assume the presidency, and everyone know this as well. Not because of her harebrained ideas – we already have that – but because of her sheer incompetence. She has already demonstrated that she wouldn't have the first clue of how to lead a nation or respond to a crisis.
Because it has 50 uncompromising Democrats, at least three reliable renegade Republican collaborators and sometimes many more, the U.S. Senate will neither convict Biden in an impeachment trial nor give the 51 votes necessary to remove him under the 25th Amendment. It isn't going to happen.
That leaves only one person capable of persuading him to resign: Jill Biden. From what we've seen so far, that isn't likely to happen either. How she can allow him to suffer the indignity and humiliation of having already established himself as the most destructive president in US history is unexplainable, unless she just gets her jollies from being on the world stage. For most of us, family would intervene when we've proven an embarrassment to ourselves and those around us.
The problem for constitutional conservatives is that the solution to this problem likely means continued Democrat control of the government. What if, for example, Senate Democrats along with Romney, Murkowski, and Collins decided that a “moderate” Democrat should replace Biden? The list is short. In fact, we can find only one possibility: Tulsi Gabbard. She had a rating of 7.63 by the American Conservative Union, about par for House Democrats (Republican Jim Jordan of Ohio scores 100). But she holds no countenance for Biden family corruption, and she is a hawk on national defense, currently serving as an Army Reserve officer. At the Democrat debates, she truly was the only visible rational thinker.
The first order of business is to replace Kamala Harris with Gabbard as vice president. This is how Gerald Ford became president.
When Spiro Agnew resigned as vice president on Oct.10, 1973, the wheels for removing President Nixon were already in motion. The Powers That Be – the Republican Establishment – couldn't allow Agnew to become president. With the help of the New York Times, they discovered that Spiro failed to report $30,000 of income on his 1967 tax return. Compared to Hunter Biden influence peddling on behalf of Joe, this is penny ante – $184,500 in today's inflated currency according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. By comparison, Hunter Biden shook down Ukraine for $1 million and, it's reported, $1.5 billion in contracts from Communist China.
With Agnew departed, Nixon appointed Ford, and Ford became president on Aug. 9, 1974.
As we have called Donald Trump the Essential President, his chances of re-election in 2024 would certainly be diminished under the scenario here. With the country's actual survival at stake, this is the chance we must take.
It won't happen, but thanks for letting me indulge a fantasy.
Biden’s shame
Col. Richard Kemp was commander of British forces in Afghanistan in 2003. “What we've seen in the last few days, it's the greatest foreign policy disaster that I have seen in my lifetime of any nation from any Western country,” he told Mark Levin on FNC's “Life, Liberty and Levin” program Sunday. “And I would go so far as to say that this is the most disastrous foreign policy event since at least the Second World War in the USA. I think that this is worse now than on 9/11.”
Kemp had nothing better to say about Biden's withdraw from Afghanistan in which our military forces fled without warning, abandoning thousands of American civilians now trapped behind enemy lines. Of Biden's speech explaining the retreat, he said “I've never heard such a disgraceful speech from the President of the United States.”
Kemp noted that Biden blindsided the Afghan people, their military, and NATO, which had more troops in the country than the U.S. “For him to accuse the Afghan forces of cowardice – a man who never fought – is a national disgrace for America,” Kemp said. “The consequences are absolutely devastating . . . for the whole of the Western world. Biden has destroyed NATO's credibility.”
The deeper meaning from Biden's retreat is that China and Russia no longer fear the United States, and Taiwan no longer has a reliable defender. Nobody is happier than China and Russia, he said, calling the US “fair weather friends” of Taiwan, Israel and other free nations who depend on US military power.
“The whole world just became vastly more dangerous” since Biden humiliated the United States, he said, adding that “He should not be impeached. He should be court martialled for betraying the United States and the US armed forces.”
Finally, he said, “I would certainly encourage the people of the United States to turn the situation around, and you ain't going to turn it around with the people at the helm now.”
